Waiting

Clouds above heaven — biding the right time.

The clouds are already in the skyWaiting

Waiting is not stopping; it is pulling your strength back out of urging.

Xu is water in the sky, rain slow to fall. Sincerity, then brilliance and success — one who can wait has a bright interior, because he knows conditions are assembling, merely not yet due. Impatient waiting is its own drain: every refresh, every chase, every rehearsal spends in advance the energy meant for action.

The judgment offers images of ease — eating, drinking, contentment. Those who truly know how to wait do not grit through it; they eat normally, sleep normally, keep the work at hand good. When the moment arrives they are not climbing out of exhaustion but standing there whole.

Practice Trade today's waiting for a properly eaten meal and an early night. The task of a waiting period is maintenance, not staring at results.
In the four domains

01Career & decisions

The promotion, the reply, the launch — none are due yet. Prepare the ground so thoroughly that when the rain comes, you are the only one ready.

02Love & bonds

If love is unconfirmed, stop rehearsing the outcome. Eat well, stay warm, and be a calm person to return to rather than a test to pass.

03Wealth & resources

A holding pattern, not a dead one. Keep the machine oiled — minimum viable effort on every channel — and bank energy instead of spending it on checks.

04Body & mind

Impatience is the real expense now. Trade one hour of refreshing for one hour of genuine rest; the body believes what you repeat.

Timing & action

Wait with confidence, not with teeth. Set a review date, then genuinely look away until it arrives — the rain falls on the fed, not the frantic.
